What Is Affiliate Marketing?
If you don’t know what affiliate marketing is, or don’t you know what an affiliate is, affiliate or affiliate marketing is when they have some type of customized link that is linked to you and every time that you market that link, you get paid for it. Getting a commission for promoting other people or company’s product.
What most people do is when they are affiliates, which is a terrible way of marketing, is grab that link and they go into spam or salesy mode blasting all over social media. When you click on that link, it leads to a type of lead capture page or sales page. If you are doing affiliate marketing or have an affiliate link and just throw it out there, that’s terrible marketing. You will not make any money doing that.
How To Make Money With Affiliate Marketing
Let me share with you actually how to make make money with affiliate marketing. When you have that link and buy a course on recruiting. Go over that recruiting course or whatever you purchased, go through it, and take notes on that recruiting course. Shoot a video or write an article about what you learned. At the end of that video or that article, you put your affiliate link in there saying, “Hey, this is what I learned. If you want to recruit more people to your business, you might want to do this. If you want to learn more about how to recruit more people, maybe you want to check out this course right here and then there’s a link at the end of this article or there’s a link in this video.”
You have to bridge the gap. Connect that link with some type of notes because if you are just taking your link and blasting it out there, you will not make any money doing that. Take it a step further, take notes, produce content around your link, and then market out there. You are informing people on the product that you purchased. If they decide to actually purchase that product as well, you will make more money that way.
