Seeking Your Ideal Prospect…
I focus on a lot of network marketers, because network marketers already are in love with the industry, love the concept of residual income, passive income. The two issues I see is making money and getting more people to talk to about their business. We’re able to plug them into a system where you can use attraction marketing principles to get more leads and sales for their business.
Network marketers. I’ve been a little bit more focused on athletes, because I’m in the midst of writing a book about the transition from basketball to business and when the athlete finishes with basketball or their sport, they ask themselves, “Okay, what do I do now?” I’ve been at this craft, 15, 20, 25 years and supposed to go back to a nine to five? What is it I’m supposed to do? I either have money to invest or I don’t have a dime to my name, because I blew it while I was playing. There’s both part of the spectrum, and what is it that I do now.
I’m writing the book about the transition and options that are available, because there’s too many of these athletes, either currently playing, former players or about to start their career and don’t have any idea what they want to do afterwards. I’m targeting this market because I want to be able to prepare them for this business and they can start this during their career, while they’re playing or maybe they are done and have no idea what they want to do, and we have options for you.
I was in this situation where when I started my career I was thinking basketball. I wasn’t thinking life without basketball until into my career. There are people who know that basketball is not going to last for the rest of their life. That’s more my brother, and he was like I know this isn’t going to last the rest of my life, let me stack some money, but he still was in a position where he didn’t know what he wanted to do, but he ended up figuring it out.
There’s people at all those spectrums where I’ve been focused on them, because I want to be able to help them make that transition towards what it is that they want. It could be network marketing, but there’s other options out there. I didn’t have anybody to help me with that transition. I had to search for a mentor. I want to be the mentor for those athletes.
