There has been a lot of talk on what you should do to build your network marketing business. Should you build it offline the traditional way or use online strategies.
Today I am share with you what is the best way to build your business!
Is Face to Face How to Start a Network Marketing Business
I was speaking to this woman via Twitter. I was asking her some questions. I was mlm prospecting and she said, “I don’t use any social media at all. All I do is, I build my network marketing business face-to-face. This is the only way to do it. Well, I said, “Hmm. That’s interesting.” So my reply was this, “So you’re not on any social platforms?” Obviously Twitter because I was speaking to her. I asked, “You don’t use any social media to reach out to people and talk to people?” Her reply, “No. Everything I do is face-to-face. It’s the only way to do it.
She emphasized “ONLY.” Now, in my opinion, it may be the best way to do it, face-to-face, because you do build a connection and you see the person’s real. But it’s not the only way to do it. The woman in the picture is not the woman I was speaking with =)
Using Network Marketing Online
Now, let me share with you my results. So I’ve recruited people from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube. Haven’t done Instagram yet. I haven’t really done Snapchat yet. Right there it’s a few social medias where I’ve built relationships and I’ve connected with people and it’s signed them up into my business.
Now saying face to face is the only way is like saying that walking is the only way. So say I wanted to get from L.A. to New York and the only way to do it was to walk. Well, there’s different ways you can do that. There are faster ways you can do that. There are smarter ways that you can do that.
When I was having this conversation with this lady, her saying that face-to-face is the only way to build your network marketing business is living in the Stone Age. Now you can combine the two, where you are speaking and doing offline mlm prospecting and passive marketing, and even online prospecting. You can do both where you’re doing online prospecting and offline prospecting. You can be a hybrid.
But saying that face-to-face is the only way to build your business is just not true. You can work a lot harder. Because there’s only so many of you’s in the day. You can only schedule so many meetings in a day. But with social media, you can connect with as many people as you want.
I know Facebook has a couple of limits as far as how many people you can add as a friend. But Twitter, you can connect with hundreds, if not thousands of people every single day. And reach out and make connections every single day on Twitter. YouTube is more passive, but you can use YouTube or you can send messages to people on YouTube as well. So saying face-to-face is the ONLY way you can build your network marketing business. You can, it’s going to take you a lot longer. We have tools and resources. In this day and age, we can reach out to people, talk to people, connect with people, build relationships with people via video, or blog.
