It is one of the more common and tougher network marketing prospecting objections to overcome is, what do you say when they tell you I don’t have time? This short video post will help.
Are They Really That Busy?
Know that most of the times when someone tells you they don’t time, it’s not necessary the case. They do this for a few reasons, but here is one. They believe it is an MLM objection that you cannot overcome, therefore, it’s them blowing you off.
Understand that if you are new to network marketing, objections do occur during network marketing prospecting. It can be a type of fear, because you haven’t heard an objection before, or ask what am I supposed to say? This objection is common and here is how you can actually answer that objection.
First of all, if someone tells you, “I don’t have time.” 99.9% of the time, they are lying. Here’s why? About 6 hours a day is spent just on watching TV. If a person spends an average of 6 hours a day on television, there is time there to do this business? I want you to keep an open mind about that. When somebody says, “I don’t have the time,” a good way to answer this question is, “Feel. Felt. Found.”
You want to relate to that person when they have that mlm objection. If a person tells you, “I don’t have the time.” You can reply, “Oh, yeah. I feel what you mean because when I first started, I was really busy, but I felt that if I spent a couple hours a day, an hour a day, or fifteen minutes a day, (use your story) I spent that time of day on it, then I got some results. I found that I can actually work this business anytime I want to.” See how that works? You want to relate a story. This could be your personal story or it can be a story of someone in your mlm company, but you want to relate that story to your prospect. This opens their mind and they realize that, “Hey, I don’t need to be spending 90 hours a week on this business.”
You can spend a small amount of time on this business to build it. You have your team and your company actually leveraging that time for them so you can help build that business.
