Knowing that this game is “90% mental and 10% physical” is important for growing your business and staying focused.
Here I’m sharing how we use this mentally even outside of our business, and what it truly means that this is a mindset.
What It Means That…..
Let me tell you a little something about athletes. We are super arrogant, but you have to be. Because when you’re playing there’s fans, other players, coaches, all these different factors, doubts and negativity coming at you. You’ve got to train yourself. I think it was John Madden, because I used to play Madden when I was little, there would always be this quote. He’s said, “The game is 90% mental, it’s 10% physical.” And I was like, “What the hell is he talking about?” I was a kid, “Just give me the ball, throw it, he’s supposed to be faster than everybody.”
When you start playing the game, you understand it, it is 90% mental and 10% physical. And it’s like that in business too, because people say, “Oh, I don’t have the network he or she has.”
Well, do you know her/his story? What is it that they did to build that? Ask their blueprint, ask what their habits are, because we’re in a result based society. If you want that result, you’ve got to work for it.
People are complaining all the time of why they can’t get these results, so there’s all these excuses of why they can’t get these results, “I have five kids, so I can’t afford it.” I was sharing with one of my friends, “It’s not always about money.” There’s resources out there that can help you out. But you’ve got to go out and find them, nobody’s going to knock on your door and come to your rescue.
You got to go out there and tell yourself, “Okay, I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired, let me go find some resource, find some help.” Because there’s people out there who can help.
Three months ago I was reading the Prince story.
What he did was be a janitor at the place so he can get studio time, because he couldn’t afford studio time. He was a janitor at the place where he worked. He would clean the place where he worked so he could get the studio time. People think that it’s always about money, money is just a resource. You can offer other services or barter with people. If you want to get out your situation.
Did This Help You? If so, I would greatly appreciate it if you commented below and shared on Facebook
