Are you trying to brand yourself, but don’t know where to start?
Here I share exactly what to share in order to brand yourself and get more sales.
What You Need To Know About Branding Yourself
What do you want to be known for? What do you want your brand to be? This is something you got to ask yourself. If people are coming to you and asking for help, they know exactly what they’re coming for. For example, One reason why I choose not to promote multi network marketing companies is because I don’t want to be the guy that got these watches, wrists and necklaces, and over here we got earrings and bracelets, because they’re just selling trying to make money.
I want to be known for a person of value, a network marketing professional, a person who helps people get leads, sales, traffic, recruit people into their business. When people come to my website, they know. Check the testimonials, my content, etc. People who are against network marketing, they go away. They may accidentally end up on my page, but then go, it’s “rejection free.”
When people come to my blog, search my name, search my videos, is going to be all value-based about network marketing. The question is what do you want to be known for online. If I wanted to be an affiliate of turtle soup. It would NOT be on this blog. It would have to be another website where I’m targeting people who are interested in turtle soup.
Be Congruent with Your Brand.
I’m affiliates with MLSP and Elite Marketing Pro because these are aligned with my brand. These are companies that are industry-based. They provide value to the home-based industry as well. People who are struggling with recruiting, what questions to ask. I can create a blog post about it and link to one of those affiliates.
Also I can do the same thing about these business opportunities. Most people who are in network marketing, they are company-based and focus on everything about their mlm company. Which is fine. If you want to be focused on your company, that’s great. Promote it. Because if you don’t want to promote it, who will? But personally, I don’t only want to help people within my company, I want to help more people, impact a lot of other people. Don’t limit yourself. If you have success in your mlm company, and that’s what you’re talking about, then yes, you can help your downline, your sideline, your crossline, and upline, if your upline wants to listen :). But you can help the whole industry. That’s why I brand myself as impacting the whole industry, not just my company.
Make sure that you know what you want to be known for. When prospects are coming to you, and are asking questions, they know exactly what they’re getting. They know the product or service that your providing.
In the video below I share examples of two leaders in the industry on what they are doing to brand themselves and offers to their market and you can do the same.
