Has anyone asked you what you wanna be when you grow up?
In this video I share a different training that you may not have been asked during your journey?
What Do You Wanna Be?
The thing is that as a parent when you ask this question or if your parent asked you this when you were a kid. “What do you want to be when you grow up?”. Usually, kids don’t answer with an exotic answer that parents wanna hear. A doctor, lawyer, neurosurgeon, an astronaut or a dentist. You go to school for awhile and do that.
Kids answer that question, “I want to be a basketball player, an actor/actress, football player, an athlete, a gymnast, a dancer, an artist, a musician. Most times when parents hear that answer they’ll repeat, “Hmm, okay. What do you want to be when you grow up?” The reason why they answer that question like that is because that’s what makes them happy. What you want to be when you grow up is happy. That is not taught, when you grow up, how to be happy.
Most are taught to “Go to school, once you get out of college then get a secure job.” What you study for college, that’s what you “want” to do when you grow up. What’s not taught, shown or practiced out there is how to be what do you want to do when you grow up or what do you want to be when you grow up is be happy.
