Today’s post may blow you away. In this post I share why I chose Network Marketing and stay in this profession.
The truth is with my ability, I COULD choose any other profession, but let me share why I think this is the best profession for me.
Choosing Network Marketing
At what point when you were working, you were doing the 9 to 5, did you say, “All right. Now is the time for me to go on my own and let’s start my company, my business.” What did you see? What was the whole situation like when you made that jump?
Fortunately I didn’t have a 9 to 5. I was playing ball overseas when I made the decision. I was midway in my career when I knew I did not want to go back to the 9 to 5.
That’s when I started looking for options along the way. What is it that I want to do where I can control my income, time and network marketing came into play. From that it was the low investment, and more flexible. I seen a lot of athletes who get restaurants and brick & mortars with all this overhead.
The movie, Field of Dreams? If you build it, it will come. No, that really doesn’t exist.
The reason why people think it exists, maybe because of Field of Dreams, “the movie”, but that’s where the marketing comes in place. For example, I have no idea about your boot camp, but I’m going to go on a limb and say, you didn’t have a list of people that you reached out to and said, “Hey, I’m starting this business. It’s going to be here. I’d love to have you here.” You probably went more to the cold market route and just passed and hand out flyers. That’s what a lot of people do because they don’t want to share their ideas or their dream with their warm market, because if they shoot that shit down, they’ll feel like, “Oh man, that shit hurt.”
Your parents or spouse telling you, “Why are you doing a bootcamp? You’re making a $100k working at a job that you don’t like, go get that money.” Where, when you’re an entrepreneur, you’re driven by your passion and that’s what keeps you going. I believe, that once you find your purpose, your why, then when you’re getting up in the morning, it doesn’t feel like work anymore.
Everybody has to “work.” Everybody has to go out there and do whatever it is to make a living. But when you find something that you really like, it doesn’t feel like work, then you’re making money off something that you love, and 95% of people aren’t able to do that. Whether it’s fear of failure, fear of success, or what society is going to say about them, whatever their families are going to say about them. “You ain’t going to make it.”
Unfortunately, and this is your family too, they didn’t chase their dreams, so it’s, unfortunately, they don’t want you to chase your dreams so you relax and take that corporate job. You’ll be safe when there’s really no security in that either.
Hope you got value from this, if you did feel free to share.
I appreciate you guys so much. Have an amazing day.
